David Williams is Ohio born and bred. He received an undergraduate degree from WSU in Creative Writing. He lives in Columbus and he writes about food, drink, and culture and creates the Exhuming the Bones podcast with fellow Ohio HWA members Mary Leoson and Kelly Griffiths.

Kelly hikes or bikes as often as the Northeast Ohio weather allows. Recently, she took up single-track mountain biking—a religious experience because she’s a sneeze or bug-in-the-eye away from getting all her metaphysical questions answered. Her short fiction is published in Dark Moon Digest, The Forge Literary Magazine, Reflex Fiction, and various anthologies. Gordon Square Review nominated her flash “Tease” for Best Small Fictions. Kelly founded MTO Horror, personalized horror vignettes published every Wednesday. You give her a fact. She’ll give you a fright.

Leoson is a Pushcart Nominee and Member of the Horror Writers Association who specializes in literary horror and paranormal historical fiction. Her novel, The Butterfly Circle, was published by Manta Press in August of 2023. Her writing has also been featured in the The Lost Librarian's Grave Anthology, Castabout's Halloween Anthology, Free Spirit Historic Tales Anthology, and numerous literary magazines. Leoson holds a Doctor of Arts in English Pedagogy and Literature, an MFA in Fiction, an MA in English, and an MS in Psychology. When she's not writing about ghosts or co-hosting the podcast Exhuming the Bones, she teaches English composition, creative writing, literature, film, and psychology at the college level. Her roots are in Ohio, but she currently lives in the Nashville area with her husband and two very spoiled dogs.
